In his book Sticking Points Author Haydn Shaw compares the similarities and differences of the current four generations in the workplace expanding upon how managers might learn to improve the manager-employee relationship in ways beneficial to all.
The key in Shaw’s teaching is his effort to help one understand it is not about fixing one generation to think like the other, but rather learning to work with them (p. 6).
From Traditionalist, to Baby Boomers, to Gen Xers, to Millennial and the Cuspers in between, the following of this material could change how each generation reaches the other (pp. 7–11).
